RURAL SOCIOLOGY 140 INTRODUCTION TO RURAL SOCIOLOGY
OVERVIEW:
Rural Sociology 140 is an introduction to sociology that focuses on issues relating to the study of rural people and places, as well as rural related issues in both advanced and developing countries. Rural Sociology 140 does not have any prerequisites. Although I introduce students to some basic sociological theories, and the core concepts used by rural sociologists, the focus of the course is on substantive issues related to rural development.
